Jillian Martin is an award-winning director with a gift for turning ideas into bold, unforgettable, human stories. She’s brought her vision to brands like Burger King, AIG, Samsung, HP, Degree, General Motors, Honda, Pepsi, Venus, Popeyes, and Church’s Chicken, to name a few. One of Adweek’s Top 100 Creatives and one of the Top 15 Directors Changing Storytelling, her diverse work spans genres including food, lifestyle, pharma, automotive and kids. Her signature sensibility of authenticity, heart, and humanity begins behind the camera with collaborators and extends through the pieces she creates.
Jill can often be found in a scout van building a shoot schedule, creating her own presentations, operating a camera on set or editing a rough cut to share with a creative director or an editor. Whether she’s traversing the world’s highest peaks(Everest) rappelling down a rock wall with a camera or fully submerged in the open ocean, Jill's love for life’s amazing experiences and human connection is the cornerstone of her life and her work.
Originally from Michigan, she now calls Los Angeles home, where she lives with her family. As a new mother, she’s discovered fresh layers of empathy, patience, and joy—qualities that now infuse her creative process as deeply as her technical skill.
Beyond her thriving commercial work, Jillian is developing multiple feature films, continuing to chase stories that move, inspire, and stay with you long after the credits roll.
