Award winning Director and Photographer, Peter Rodger’s passion for visual storytelling was nurtured from an early age, growing up in the company of the world’s greatest photojournalists. His father, George Rodger, was not only a legendary photojournalist but also a co-founder of the world-renowned Magnum Photos. Peter was able to learn from some of the greatest photographers in the world, including Henri Cartier-Bresson, Eve Arnold, Joseph Kudelka, Sebastião Salgado, Elliott among others. 

Peter made his mark in European and U.S. advertising industries with his unique ability to capture the soul of a subject with cinematic precision. This led to collaborations with some of the world’s most prestigious brands, including Mercedes, Coca-Cola, Apple, and Lexus.  

Renowned for his cinematic yet observational style, born from an instinctive grasp of human authenticity, he was noticed by Hollywood which led to him to directing 2nd Unit for features like the Hunger Games and the upcoming feature Desert Warrior starring Anthony Mackie and Sir Ben Kingsley. 

Beyond his commercial and second-unit work, Peter has written several commissioned screenplays. He is currently in pre-production on his own feature, Comfort of the Storm, which he will direct in New Orleans in 2026.
