Juddy Talt fell in love with cinema at the early age of nine when his father surreptitiously slipped him a copy of Billy Wilder’s THE APARTMENT. Shortly after, Juddy’s mind was blown and he knew exactly what he wanted to do. Soon, thereafter, Juddy gravitated to the storytelling medium most available to him: the theater, performing in various plays and musicals.
It wasn’t until he arrived at the University of Southern California where Juddy started writing and directing short films while also taking classes at the famed Improv school, the Groundlings. Shortly after graduating from USC, Juddy wrote and starred in his first film feature length film, Language of A Broken Heart, the film displayed Juddy’s love for comic realism and the importance of being emotionally honest and funny in a nuanced way.
With his first film under his belt, Juddy signed with ICM and started penning scripts for Studios and major production companies such as Sony, WB and Montecito Pictures. Around that time, Juddy was approached to write and direct broadcast spots, branded content and social content directly for Netflix, which lead him back to short form content. In subsequent years, Juddy has directed spots for clients such as McDonalds, 7-11, Xfinity/Comcast, Spirit Airlines and Lands End.
